Description

A Great Career Opportunity, for a Laboratory Specialist, Working in the Quality Control Department, with a Global Leader in the Diagnostics Sector, Located in a Highly Conducive Environment in Suffolk

Working Hours are 08:00Hrs to 16:00Hrs, Monday to Friday Inclusive

ROLE

  • Oversee Laboratory Testing of All Finished Products and Actively Contribute to an Adaptive Plan
  • Lead Investigations into Atypical or Out of Specification Results and Deviations from Quality Procedures to Determine Root Cause and Complete Effective Corrective and Preventative Measures
  • Understanding where Equipment Can be Fixed In-House and where External Support is Required
  • Ensure Equipment is Maintained and Calibrated, Following Approved Procedures
  • Accountability for Instrument Qualification to GMP Standards ie Installation, Operational and Performance Qualifications
  • Advanced Trouble Shooting and Understanding of All Equipment
  • Upload Methods, Procedures, Specifications and PFMEA’s onto the Company Data Base
  • Perform Trending on Generated Data to Identify Patterns and Potential Issues and Suggest Corrective Actions or Improvements
  • Maintain Detailed Laboratory Records and Deviations, Following Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), Using Company Data Recording Procedures to Ensure All Records and Test Results are Accurately Prepared and Checked

REQUIRED

  • Relevant Science Degree and a Minimum of 3 Years of Laboratory Experience in a Current Good Laboratory Practice, (cGLP), Environment)
  • Experience in Various Chromatographic Data Systems, Including OpenLab CDS HPLC, Including Integration of Chromatograms and Trouble Shooting
  • Expertise in UV, Including Understanding Critical Parameters and the Effects on the Method, and Understanding Issue Resolution and How Instruments Generate Results
  • Ability to Manage Time Effectively
  • Flexible Approach and Ability to Adapt According to Workload
  • Self-Motivation, Reliability, Ability to Work on Own Initiative
  • Effective Team Member and Ability to Communicate Across Functions
  • Curiosity and Keenness to Understand, Learn and Try New Things
  • Possess Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

REMUNERATION

  • £35K p/a + Annual Bonus + Paid Overtime
