This company operates a sophisticated matrix of pharmaceutical companies to bring the most up to date and state of the art system of product management. This company follows a traditional model of generics manufacturers (virtual manufacturing) whilst allowing each subsidy of the organisation to make decisions at a local level to avoid the beurocratic approach that often follows a virtual manufacturing facility.
Now this company are seeing substantial results for their efforts, and as part of that they are looking to recruit a new Supply Chain Manager to join their UK Headquarters in Sussex.
ROLE
- To make sure that all stock being imported, is imported to the UK within the agreed timescales and against the monthly cover
- Support the company pipeline and product line with the agreed strategy
- Managing supplier and warehouse relationships and monitor performance against monthly KPIs
- To keep up to date, and implement where necessary the UK and EU legislation guidelines pertaining to GMP and GDP
- Project manage new launches including technical transfers
- Manage all shipping costs for inbound logistics and continually negotiate on pricing for already marketed products
- Coordinate rework projects with related sites
- Ensure all manufacturing docs are received and supplied to the QA to make available for batch release
- Monthly reporting to Head office including lost business analysis, API and FP product forecasts
- Market analysis and data retrieval
REQUIRED (Essential)
- Supply chain management experience (3 years approx) - Pharmaceutical industry (Ideally Generics products)
- English fluency
- Experience with Falsified Medicines Directive (FMD)
REQUIRED (Preferred)
- Other languages desirable
