Head of QA & RA (QP) - Belgium

Remedies aren’t working, but cures can.  This innovative pharmaceutical company are focussed on helping to cure a variety of different types of cancer, using an incredibly unique delivery method that allows them to deliver a large radiopharmaceutical product, directly into a specific cancer cell, without having mass effects on the wider body as a whole.

This kind of research is state of the art, and puts this global organisation at the forefront of the industry.

As part of their new expansion plans, they have taken over a unique and much more niche Radiopharmaceutical company, that is in need of a Head of QA and RA (QP) to join the business on a permanent, full time basis to be based from the company Headquarters in Belgium. 

ROLE

• Manage the AFMPS interactions (inspection, information etc)
• Product batch release
• Manage the QMS (daily activities)
• Develop and Manage the training programme for current and new staff
• Create and maintain company SOPs
• Lead internal CAPA process and internal quality reviews
• Act in compliance to all required GMP guidelines
• Provide ongoing technical assistance and problem solving
• Participate in communications with the regulatory agencies as needed
• Report to global Director of QA and RA of the parent company based internationally
• Manage team effectively in product registrations and also within the Quality department

REQUIRED (Essential)

• BSc degree (Pharmacy, Biochemistry or Science field is preferred)
• (EU) QP Certification
• 8 years minimum in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• 3 years minimum working in close support with R&D, Operations and Quality
• Experience of auditing
• Fluency in English

REQUIRED (Preferred)

• Experience in Radiopharmaceuticals
• Past experience in regulatory affairs
• Management experience
• Fluency in French

REMUNERATION

• Basic Salary of £95K - £110K Per Annum
