Description

  • Experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician Required by a Birmingham Based, Major Supplier of Pharmaceutical Products and Services. Applicants will be Responsible for Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance, System Breakdowns, Defect Repair and General Upkeep of the Facilities, Ensuring System Cleanliness and Conditions are Maintained to the Highest Standards  This is a Permanent Night Shift Role

    ROLE

    • Support the Operations Team by Ensuring Automation is Available and Maintained to High Standards Minimising Downtime and Technical Issues
    • Conduct System Analysis and Reports to Identify Problems and with Support, Implement Change and Best Practices
    • Maintaining High Volume Picking Machinery and Ancillary Equipment via Planned Maintenance Schedules
    • Diagnose/Repair of Electrical/Mechanical and Pneumatics Components
    • Immediate Response to Any Breakdowns to Production Equipment
    • Maintain Current Records of All Maintenance Work
    • Assist in Supervision and Control of All Site Based Mechanical and/or Electrical Operations
    • Implement Continuous Improvement by Identifying Re-Occurring Issues through Data Analysis
    • Generate Appropriate Documentation in Accordance with Company Procedures and Work Instructions
    • Engage with Contractors, Including Obtaining/Providing Permits to Work, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
    • Adherence to Strict Health and Safety Policies
    • Technical Support and Training to Colleagues

    REQUIRED

    • Experience of Working in the Pharmaceutical Industry
    • Electrical Qualification to a Minimum NVQ Level 3
    • Electrical/Mechanical/Pneumatic/PLC Qualifications
    • Good Technical Knowledge of Automated Mechanical/Electrical/Pneumatic Equipment
    • Good Understanding of Health and Safety Policies
    • Ability to Read Schematic Diagrams
    • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis
    • Experience of Continuous improvement Working Environment

    REMUNERATION

    • £50K p/a + Benefits
