Formulation Scientist/Technologist

A Well Established and Highly Successful, Global Supplier of Specialist Products and Services, is Seeking to Appoint a Formulation Scientist/Technologist to Join the Formulation Team at their Facilities Near Maidstone

ROLE

• Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Formulation Scientist/Technologist will take Responsibility for Specific Formulation Assignments
• Deliver Cost Effective Finished Product, Consistent with Customer Requirements and Expectations
• Evaluate and Implement Innovative Solutions to Satisfy Customer Requirements
• Provide Technical Support to Colleagues and Customers re Existing and New Projects
• Build Expertise on Functional Ingredients and Formulation Technologies, Ensuring Knowledge is Current and Disseminated within the Formulation Team
• Support Raw Material Sourcing, Evaluation and Approval Programmes
• Direct Customer Interface in Collaboration with Commercial Colleagues

REQUIRED

• Appropriate Science/Food Technology Qualifications
• Experience of Nutraceutical or Food Sectors
• Formulation Expertise, Specifically Dietary Supplements and/or Food Additives
• Knowledge of Nutritional Benefits of Vitamins, Minerals, Amino Acids etc and the Impact of Excipients
• Knowledge of Appropriate Legislation is Advantageous
• Innovative and Creative Approach to Problem Solving
• Organised and Methodical, with the Ability to Multi-Task, Prioritise and Deliver On-Time
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• IT literate with Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
