Electronics Compliance Approval Engineer

The Electronics Compliance Approval Engineer will be Working in a Highly Conducive, (Flexi-Time is Available), Busy, Challenging Creative and Rewarding Environment, Including Direct Client Interface.  The Projects are Varied, Challenging and Rewarding

ROLE

• Working with the Design Engineers with the Key Responsibility of Management and Attainment of Compliance for All Applicable Products Designed for Clients
• Maintenance of All Relevant Information and Management of Communications with External Test and Approval Bodies
• Ensure Products Compliance with National and Worldwide Regulations and Directives eg CE and FCC Compliance
• Develop Compliance Test Plans after Researching and Identifying Applicable Regulatory and Industry Standards and Codes
• Ownership of Pre-Compliance Testing, Sample Preparation and Co-ordination with External Test Houses, On-Site if Necessary
• Collaborate with Design Teams to Resolve Product Design Issues, Related to Compliance Non-Conformities
• Collaborate with Design Teams on New Product Development, Specifically in RF and EMC Areas
• Maintain Technical Data for All Product Compliance

REQUIRED (Essential)

• Familiarity with CE, WEEE and RoHS Directives
• Solid Experience in All Aspects of Product Compliance and Testing for CE and FCC, Ideally for Industrial Electronic Equipment
• Experiences in Electronic/RF/EMC Design and Trouble Shooting
• Ability to Work on Multiple Projects, Concurrently
• Analytical Approach to Problem Solving
• Ability to Propose Sensible Solutions to Compliance Issues

REQUIRED (Desirable)

• RF Design Experience is Advantageous

REMUNERATION

• Basic Salary of £50K Per Annum + Annual Bonus
